About the Event

What to expect

Come to learn about fighting for film and creating mass battles! You will learn about  set etiquette, logistics of a battle action sequence, safety and much more!

A battle scene requires special training for larger groups of people with differing levels of experience. It focuses on how to safely fight, move as a unit, hit their marks and look good doing it. 

Workshop will result in one day filming of a mass battle with all participants.  You will get the materials afterwards to be used in your action reel!

Mon 18.4. Filming Day (aprox 10-17)

First three days we are at Alppiharju - Sali 2 (Aleksis Kiven katu 32-34, 00510 Helsinki)

Filming will take place at Suomenlinna

What to have with you

  • Comfortable training clothes (no jeans)
  • Training shoes that don't leave marks on the floor
  • Gloves for working with weapons
  • Water bottle

Price of the workshop is 280€ for non members  / 250€ for DCF and NSFS members

About Kristoffer Jørgensen

Kristoffer Jørgensen has put fight scenes together all his working life, covering some 150 stage productions, more than 70 films and TV productions, and top medal positions in 5 international championships in stage fencing; AAI world champion in 2008 and 2012. One of his specialties is large battle scenes for film and stage.  He is head of the Arctic Action stunt team and one of two main coordinators for Action Teams Norway, the largest stunt company in Norway.  Kristoffer is a founding member of the NSFS. He became an NSFS certified teacher in 2000; NSFS fight director in 2015. He is also a mentor for NSFS teacher trainees. He has done many international seminars on stage combat and stunt work.
