Fight Sunday: Pirate Combat – Heights and Fights

Inspired by the boarding actions of historical naval battles, this immersive movement and stage combat class explores the physical and tactical challenges faced by sailors as they crossed from one vessel to another armed with the iconic cutlass.

Participants will develop agility, balance, spatial awareness, and collaborative combat choreography while navigating the confined and unpredictable environment of a ship's deck. Drawing from historical sources, theatrical swordplay, and ensemble movement practices, the class brings the drama and intensity of maritime conflict to life in a safe and engaging training environment. Fight Sundays are open level workshops dedicated to various themes related to the art of stage and screen fight. Every Fight Sunday offers a great opportunity to introduce yourself to the field, learn new skills, or practice the techniques you are already familiar with.

Cancellation Policy

We know that plans can change, and we appreciate you letting us know as early as possible.

• Sudden illness: If you’re unable to attend due to sudden illness, we’ll provide a full refund.

• Less than 48 hours’ notice: If you cancel within 48 hours (two days) of the workshop, a 50% fee will apply.

• No-shows: If you don’t attend the workshop without prior notice, the full workshop fee will be charged.
