Fight Sunday: Silat

This time, we delve into Silat with Kaj Tepponen — a workshop exploring the dynamic and fluid martial art of Silat, rooted in Southeast Asian traditions. Whether you’re interested in authentic martial arts forms or incorporating Southeast Asian fighting styles into your performance, this workshop will enhance your understanding of combat choreography with an emphasis on precision, flow, and timing. In this workshop we will specifically focus on stylized takedowns and groundwork.

Join us for this session full of disciplined movement and exciting physical challenges! Fight Sundays are open level workshops dedicated to various themes related to the art of stage and screen fight. Every Fight Sunday offers a great opportunity to introduce yourself to the field, learn new skills, or practice the techniques you are already familiar with.
