Our Intermediate classes are for those who have trained with us previously, are safe fighters, and are ready to move quickly in more advanced training styles, as well as for those, who have passed at least one test in the Nordic Stage Fight Society System. This class assumes an understanding of safety and the basic principles of stage combat and students should understand the international stage combat numbering system and partnering. This class will move quicker than our beginner level course and push the students harder.

You can read more about the disciplnes and teaching syllabus in the Nordic Stage Fight Society's Handbook (start on page 23). GENERAL INFO We will focus on the principles and techniques of theatrical violence, combined with the aspects required for film fighting. We will hone in on mechanics of stage fighting and skills required to be safe and expressive. We will also attend to variety of acting decisions that make fighting styles and techniques reflect character and story.
Classes are taught by NSFS teacher-students. Training and planning is supervised by NSFS certified mentor-teachers Oula Kitti, Iiro Heikkilä.
"Stage fighting is the illusion of physical conflict for stage and screen. Stage fighting is a system of techniques, sounds and movements that together create a violent story. Stage fighting is based on choreography and cooperation, and includes both armed and unarmed fighting. Every move is carefully planned and agreed on beforehand with an emphasis on the safety of the performer and a focus on transmitting the story that is being told to a third party."
