About the Event
UPDATE! As you are aware, current recommendations and restrictions in Metropolitan area are in effect till 10 January 2021. For that reason we have no other option, but to cancel the workshop.
Even though we had to cancel this particular event, there will be more to come. And we hope to see you there! In 2021 we are expecting to have our regular Fight Sundays, our traditional Easter Bash during Easter holidays and of course the one and only two weeks long Summer Clash workshop, that will be held in Turku in July!
In the meantime, thank you for this year and please stay safe!
Sincerely,
Dramatic Combat Finland

THE FIGHTERS HANDBOOK
Two days of exploring essential stage and screen skills for the fight professional, whether you are a fight performer, instructor or director. All of the classes have been inspired from working as a Fight Director and teacher in Theatre and Film.
In a series of mostly lighthearted classes we examine and build on the skill base of the Physical Creative, enabling the individual to find their own route to innovative problem solving. We start by establishing respectful working practices incorporating COVID secure practices. Then we explore a variety of techniques, some classes based on principles, such as The Art of Falling, others on tricks of the trade like All Tied Up and Torture, and others on pure fun and skill learning.
All of these classes are designed to prompt the participant into developing their own practices and application in their own work. Hopefully resulting in a fully loaded tool box preparing you for all that the professional world can throw at you.
